The Personal, Social and Health Education department aims to prepare our students for the twenty first century world by informing them about current issues concerning both society and the individual. We hope our students take on board what they learn in PSHE lessons and apply it to their daily life. At CMC we feel PSHE lessons are a vital aspect of our student's education and feel the skills they learn will aid them in becoming confident and successful adults.
PSHE classes are held once every Monday. Small classes are maintained and this allows sensitive issues to be talked about more confidently and comfortably by students and teachers if they feel they can.
We cover a wide range of topics from business and money management to first aid, drugs and mental health.
