The Language Department aims to educate students about cultural and language variety. We hope to inspire students to continue with their chosen language of study or learn new languages outside of academia.

Speaking, listening, writing and reading are skills assessed. Knowledge about culture is broadened by using the language students are learning to explore the history and geography of the country.

German at GCSE follows the AQA syllabus. A-Level French follows the Edexcel syllabus and Spanish follows the Edexcel or AQA syllabus.
